The fischer FLS lightweight channel system, thanks to its "clix" mechanism, allows for the easy, quick and secure fixing of light loads, from small diameter pipes to ventilation and electrical suspensions in buildings.
The system consists of three main elements: FLS channels in various heights (17, 30, and 37 mm), ALK cantilever arms, and pre-assembled structural components such as the SF Clix 31 chair clamp and the MW Clix 90° bracket, as well as optimized FHS Clix, FSM Clix M, and FSM Clix P connecting elements, along with the corresponding angles and channel connectors. Thanks to their intelligent design, the channels provide a firm hold for the structural components, ensure optimal load transfer, and allow for easy length adjustment. Alternating elongated holes, with widths of 8.5 mm and 10.5 mm, ensure optimal anchoring in the base material. With these components, the system is ideal for wall and ceiling applications and can be fixed to all common building materials, depending on the anchor used.
The channel's special geometry and the smart, pre-assembled connecting and structural elements speed up and simplify installation: simply place and rotate the components, and they click into place. Unlike conventional channel systems, there's no need to handle numerous individual parts. The system remains stable yet flexible until the screw is tightened. The elastic plastic tabs on the Clix components facilitate easy alignment of the connectors.
The FHS Clix and FSM Clix M components for securing pipe clamps ensure a secure connection thanks to their serrated edges, while the stop element allows for precise 90° rotation. The FSM Clix P offers particularly convenient and form-fit installation thanks to its ergonomic retaining tabs. A key advantage is the multifunctionality of the components. For example, a channel connector can not only join two channels but can also be used as a flat bracket or T-piece. This reduces material requirements while maintaining a high degree of flexibility, providing an advantage over competing solutions. Furthermore, the system has been fire-tested and is therefore suitable for use in escape routes, as are other solutions in the fischer installation systems range. With its accessories, the fischer FLS channel system enables simple and safe installation, as well as flexibility and cost efficiency for installing all types of service lines in residential construction. Depending on the environment, versions with electrolytic galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing or stainless steel finishes are available.
The fischer portfolio also includes a wide range of pipe clamps, both sound-insulated and non-sound-insulated. Among these is the fischer FGRS Universal quick-release hinged clamp, which enables efficient installation of pipes with outside diameters from 12 to 115 mm using threaded rods or internal suspension screws, and is sound-insulated. The SGS hose clamp reliably and securely secures connections and spigots on hoses with a wide tightening range of 8 to 140 mm. Additionally, the LBV/LBK/LBW perforated steel straps allow for flexible pipe fixing regardless of diameter.
Compatible fixing solutions are also part of fischer's system solutions for building services. With their innovative combination of materials, fischer DuoLine anchors intelligently adapt to the corresponding substrate and allow for the fixing of suspension screws in all types of substrates. The fischer UX universal anchor securely fastens in concrete, aerated concrete, masonry, plasterboard, and gypsum fiberboard, and includes suspension screws of the appropriate diameter and length. The 6 mm diameter fischer UltraCut FBS II concrete screw, approved for multiple anchors in non-structural systems, is ideal for fixing pipes, cable trays, and ductwork, as well as for many other technical installation applications.
