The standard E3 VISE ACTION® push-button latch has been modified to operate with a special cover that is installed over the mechanism during assembly. The cover includes a bistable hinge that allows it to remain either open or closed. When the mechanism is not closed, the cover cannot be closed and therefore pops up to indicate that the latch is not engaged. When the mechanism is closed, the cover also closes, providing a clear visual indication of the latch's status. The cover helps protect the latch from dust and moisture, making it a suitable choice for outdoor, vibration-prone, or corrosive environments.
It complies with UNE EN 45545 and UNE EN 61373 standards, meeting the standards of the railway sector in terms of fire and vibration resistance.
