SJZ cabling features fiber bundles with undersheaths that can be considered route-grade cables, giving network managers more options for rack, cabinet, and cable management pathways. The cables are EuroClass B2ca, s1a d1 a1 rated for LSZH installations, and OFNR-FT4-ST1 rated for riser installations. Available in fiber counts from 12 to 144 units, SJZ cable is optimized for indoor installations and, as part of a custom-built backbone assembly, is available with OM3, OM4, and OM5 single-mode and multimode fibers.
SJZ pre-terminated trunk assemblies are available in two performance levels: OPT-X Unity SJZ Trunks for ultra-low-loss performance channels and OPT-X Engage SJZ Trunks for low-loss performance channels. These offerings support longer distances and multiple connection points while remaining within IEEE low-loss limits. The trunk assemblies are part of Leviton's OPT-X global end-to-end fiber systems, available to customers worldwide.
