The RADOX RAILCAT CAT7 cable with an M12 connector is supplied. This pre-configured plug-and-play solution allows for quick and easy installation in rail cars. The M12 connector is available in two versions: molded and pre-assembled, or optimized for easy field installation.
The assembly is based on the new RADOX RAILCAT CAT7, a data bus cable for Ethernet network connections up to 10 Gigabits. The four-pair cable is available as 4x2x24 AWG and supports easy routing thanks to its compact dimensions. Like most HUBER + SUHNER products, RADOX RAILCAT CAT7 also features electronbeam cross-linked insulation material, the proven RADOX EM 104. This makes the entire assembly resistant to heat, cold, environmental conditions, and weather.
The new assembly was developed specifically for the railway market. It meets demanding environmental requirements and fire protection standards.
