Together with the Leviton Atlas-X1™ and eXtreme™ connectivity solutions, these cables offer a complete end-to-end system and meet the needs of professionals.
With a small diameter that allows for improved airflow in trays and ducts, the new cables are manufactured without a central cross filler, providing environmental advantages by reducing the presence of plastic in the design and increasing flexibility for faster terminations.
Its bending radius also reduces cable stress, making it compatible with horizontal and vertical management systems.
By meeting the highest Euroclass standard, customers benefit from the highest level of protection available on the market. Using these cables ensures the protection of people and facilities in the event of an emergency. It also provides uniformity for network operators in multiple countries with Euroclass requirements.
The new cables meet all Category 6 specifications and are tested for use in Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications up to 90W.
“We are very pleased to introduce this new range of Cat 6 UTP 24 AWG cables that offers improvements in flexibility and speed of deployment in Cat 6 networks and minimizes the carbon footprint,” says Jonathan Dunbar, senior product manager at Leviton.
Leviton cables are manufactured in the UK, while Atlas-X1 and eXtreme connectivity solutions are produced in the USA.
