This cable features double cross-linked insulation, along with being halogen-free and flame-retardant (in accordance with UNE-EN 60332-1-2).

In addition to ensuring operability across an extended operating temperature range, the crosslinked compounds used in its construction provide industry-leading values for resistance to weather conditions, ozone, ultraviolet radiation, and mechanical abrasion.

Its robust design and the use of advanced construction technologies make the ÖLFLEX® SOLAR XLR-ST family a suitable solution for outdoor installation, and its high thermal capacity offers great durability in all climatic conditions, even the most extreme, preventing premature aging.

The cross-linked co-polyolefin inner insulation is available in three colors: black, blue, and red. The outer cover is black in all cases to maximize its operational lifespan.

The ÖLFLEX® SOLAR XLR-ST family is designed for the individual interconnection of solar panels with each other and for connection with the frequency converter.

Due to its great robustness, the ÖLFLEX® SOLAR XLR-ST family is suitable for installation in ducts, facades, trays and equipment.
The outstanding quality of these cables has earned them the TÜV certificate guaranteeing their compliance with the latest test specification 2 PfG 1169/08.2007, which has been approved by the German DKE (Commission for Electrical and Electronic Technologies) group AK 411.2.3 for future PV1-F requirements in solar cables.
Although these requirements will not come into effect until June 2009.

ÖLFLEX® SOLAR XLR-ST cables are available in cross-sections ranging from 1.5 to 10 mm2 and are incorporated into the offer for photovoltaic solar installations, which includes the rest of the ÖLFLEX® SOLAR cable range, connectors (both pre-connectorized and for on-site assembly), connection boxes and EPIC® SOLAR splitters.
