However, there was no cable on the market that offered the continuous bending or twisting capabilities needed for such common applications as cable carriers or robotics.
Until now. Lapp Group, after researching and developing an innovative cable construction, launched the ETHERLINE® FD and TORSION Cat.6A cable models. They are the solution to overcome this existing limitation.
ETHERLINE® FD and TORSION Cat.6A cables have a data transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s and are specifically designed to be used in robotic applications, machine vision systems, wind turbines, and other industrial machines with motion systems.
Two versions for different applications:
ETHERLINE® FD Cat.6A Suitable for use in cable carriers and machine parts with continuous movement. PVC and PUR versions available.
ETHERLINE® TORSION Cat.6A Suitable for torsional movements. Tested for over 1 million flexing cycles and 180° right/left rotation.
