In harsh environments, power must be distributed safely even under unfavorable conditions. For these situations, the Phoenix Contact QPD installation system is the ideal robust power distribution solution. Installation is simple, fast, and flexible, with on-site time savings of up to 80%.

The convenient IDC insulation cutting connection allows for the connection of cables up to 5 x 6.0 mm² without the need for special tools. Voltages up to 690 V and currents up to 40 A can be transmitted without issue. Thanks to the high IP68/IP69K protection rating, the installation system guarantees the necessary safety and stability for the connection, even in harsh environments.

The QPD installation system product line includes connectors, cable splicers, H and T distributors, and cable glands. This allows users to easily perform installations for both individual applications and plant-wide installations.
