The low-profile DMM series allows for up to five million different contact configurations in one or four rows and is suitable for board, board-to-wire, wire-to-wire, and panel mounting. Manufactured in-house on Swiss screw-forming machines, the DMM series contacts are specifically designed to withstand vibrations up to 20G and shocks up to 100G. Specifications include: copper alloy with gold-plated signal contacts (LF) for high-speed data transmission up to 5 Gbits/s; high-power or high-current (HP) contacts rated up to 30 A; and coaxial contacts that transmit high-frequency signals up to 20 GHz. With mono or split back housings providing 360-degree EMI shielding and protecting the cable interconnect, a flange option is also available for panel-mounted shielding continuity.
Nicomatic's production continues at its manufacturing facility in France during the Coronavirus pandemic, with safe social distancing working practices in place. The DMM series is currently available with lead times of 4 to 6 weeks. Other Nicomatic connector series are also available immediately, including the company's 2 mm CMM series, which has a lead time of just one week.
