The systemThe Micro-Change connector system features a high pin density and offers an innovative braided shielding design and cross-coding (compliant with IEC 61076-2-109 standard) with high performance and excellent transmission reliability at bandwidth frequencies up to 500 MHz, in addition to meeting ISO/IEC Cat 6A specifications and TIA standards.

The compact, sealed Micro-Change connector system features a 360-degree full shield design with a 4-pair twisted construction. When mated, the shielding braids of the connector and pin overlap for optimal signal performance without any system noise interference. Cross-coding alignment enables blind mating, and recessed male pins prevent damage during mating. The Brad Micro-Change connector system is assembled using a standard M12 threaded union nut. 26 AWG wire assemblies and corrosion-resistant hardware ensure optimal reliability in demanding environments. Its rugged construction and IP67-compliant external and internal O-rings protect against water and dust ingress.

Designed for video surveillance cameras, telematics systems, GPS, cameras in cars and commercial vehicles, and automated control elements, Brad Micro-Change connectors enable quick and easy replacement of 12- to 18-mm sensors, encoders, switches, and other input/output devices in industrial machinery. The versatile Micro-Change connectors are available in 2- to 5-pole configurations, as well as 8- and 12-pole configurations compliant with IEC standards, single- or double-slot designs, with straight and 90-degree connectors; they are also suitable for Class 2 applications. The sealed Micro-Change connection offers superior EMI/RFI shielding in systems exposed to high vibration, including petrochemical plants, factory automation, and commercial vehicle equipment. The connectors are equipped for network connectivity with Ethernet and Controller Area Network (CAN) protocols, as well as passive applications such as discrete and analog sensors.
