These devices are compatible with the current M80-898 and M80-899 series of L-Tek SIL female connectors (wire-to-wire) and the M80-840 and M80-790 series of L-Tek SIL vertical female PCB connectors (wire-to-PCB).With the SIL design, design engineers can choose the exact number of contacts, from 2 to 7, including odd numbers. This is not the case with the double in-line (DIL) design, which only offers even numbers of contacts, i.e., 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.
L-Tek SIL crimp male connectors feature gold-plated contacts and are available in locking, non-locking, and friction-lock versions.
