Currently available for 2 or 3 wires, these connectors can be arranged in a row on the PCB in various combinations to achieve the desired number of contacts. Wire diameters supported are 14, 16, 18, and 20 AWG.
Cable insertion tools for the 9177 connector family are also available for the various wire counts and diameters supported. Simply place the cable in the slot and apply pressure with the insertion tool to ensure a secure and even contact.The IDC 9177 connector family supports up to 15 A and 650 V.
They are supplied in rolls to facilitate assembly with an automatic "pick & place" machine.
