The high-speed Q Rate system with a 0.8 mm pitch (QRM8/QRF8 series) boasts a rated operating frequency of 9.5 GHz SE and 8.5 GHz DP with a 7 mm offset height and -3 dB insertion loss. This performance is achieved thanks to the Edge Rate contact system. The design and positioning of the contacts and ground plane minimize side coupling effects, reducing pin crosstalk.
Furthermore, the contact system provides high cycle life and low push-pull force, and a 1.2 mm contact solder length improves the allowable angle during insertion and removal.
Q Rate connectors are available in vertical orientation with 26, 52 or 78 contacts per row (52 per bank) and a choice of spacing heights from 7 to 10 mm.
