The new right-angle MicroSpeed ​​connectors offer data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s and are the result of intensive development work that has utilized new connection technologies and materials combined with ERNI's renowned double contact and complete shielding on the top and bottom surfaces. The 90° MicroSpeed ​​has set new performance standards for its data transfer speed (up to 10 Gbit/s), size, and robustness, and allows for ultra-compact connections from the rear panel to daughterboards or coplanar connections between two daughterboards.


These modular, shielded signal connectors are available in 2 rows with
50 pins and operate over a wide temperature range (-55°C to +125°C). The signal contacts are SMT terminated and come with two shielding termination options depending on the application: SMT or THR (Through Hole Reflow) for very heavy cards or an added strain relief mechanism. SMT signal coplanarity is guaranteed to be 100% within 0.10 mm for all contacts. The 1.0 mm longitudinal pitch and 1.5 mm transverse pitch of the signal connector allow for horizontal or vertical configuration of differential or single-ended signals to meet specific impedance requirements. Optimized crosstalk behavior is achieved through a range of layout configurations, and test data is available upon request.


MicroSpeed ​​connectors are supplied in reel-type packaging. They come equipped with a black insulating body for quick and reliable visual identification, and are pre-mounted with a pick-and-place cover for easy PCB assembly.
