The two-piece design inhibits the potential for loose parts and simplifies field installation to support mobile operators in their deployment of LTE, 5G and small cell networks.

The connectors were previously available as factory-assembled, soldered jumper cables based on the 4.3-10 standard, but are now also offered in mechanically joined versions. This ensures that installers can use them in the field where cables are already in place due to renovation work or traditional site deployments.

As a progression of the OMNI FIT™ ultra-low PIM RFS connector family, the 4.3-10 connectors deliver superior performance in all environmental conditions and feature a five-point airtight interface that eliminates the need for additional sealing. Supporting up to 500 watts at 2 GHz, these new connectors ensure stable VSWR, along with exceptional and consistent PIM performance. Mating of these connectors is greatly reduced, allowing for quick installation without expensive tools. The connectors feature a multi-wire "tri-start" design that accelerates and simplifies the fitting process.

The connector design features a molded polymer latch and a double grip on the corrugated outer conductor for superior PIM values. Advantages include flexibility, a lightweight design, and increased stability. Furthermore, the high-tech polymer latch is a low-friction component for easier installation.
