They are called SSBP-20, and can be used interchangeably with non-coaxial contacts. They are suitable for a very wide range of applications, from aerospace, testing, and medical to mobile communications. Their benefits include miniaturization, increased reliability, and reduced system costs. They are shock-resistant (tested at 2000Hz, random-sine, 150°C) and vibration-resistant (tested on 3 axes, 100Gs), and are very easy to install with a simple plastic tool.
Although their original purpose is miniaturization, their 0.9 mm interface makes them a very economical solution for RF, microwave, and millimeter wave applications, or combinations of both in the same connector.
All Southwest Microwave products comply with the RoHS directive, are lead-free, made with DFARS steel, and have material traceability.
