By leveraging PoE functionality without requiring any standard switches, this device allows for network expansion by delivering power directly through the data cable, eliminating the need for power outlets and cables for additional PoE power supplies or switches. The PoE injector's data port, which supports Gigabit Ethernet, easily connects to any standard switch, and the corresponding device then plugs into the PoE port. Given its ability to supply up to 30 watts, even high-power devices can be connected.
The PoE injector features a robust metal housing and offers characteristics such as an extended temperature range, high resistance to impact and vibration, and electromagnetic compatibility, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments. The SPIDER Giga 2TX PoE EEC is equipped with two RJ45 ports for 10/100/1000 BASE-T, one of which also supports PoE+ (max. 30 W according to IEEE802.3at). The metal housing, measuring just 30 x 140 x 95 mm, can be mounted on DIN rails or directly on a wall. The PoE injector meets IP30 industrial protection requirements and also incorporates features such as plug-and-play activation, a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, and a redundant power supply (24/48 V DC), with LEDs to indicate the status of its own power supply and that of the PoE port.
