The MiiNe was developed to provide manufacturers with a competitive embedded serial-to-Ethernet solution. The MiiNePort E1, which uses the MiiNe for its SoC, is one of the world's smallest embedded server devices and has the lowest power consumption of any similar product.
Designed for single- or dual-port serial Ethernet applications, the MiiNe utilizes a 32-bit ARM 7 core, employs Moxa's proprietary UART technology, and features 2 MB of Flash memory and 4 MB of integrated SDRAM.
Furthermore, Moxa's NetEZ technology makes the MiiNePort E1 one of the easiest-to-use embedded server devices. This technology provides manufacturers of serial devices with a range of powerful tools for integrating Ethernet capabilities into their products.
MiiNePort E1 Details:
- The EXTrigger button on the MiiNePort resets the network configuration.
- MCSC (Multi-channel Serial Communication) provides dual connections and two channels for multitasking applications. This allows the device to act as both a server and a host simultaneously.
- SCM (Serial Command Mode) configures serial communication over the network within the device.
- AutoCFG enables self-configuration during the manufacturing process.
