The three integrated LEDs, easily distinguishable in blue, green, and orange, indicate the most important Profibus network states at each station. Orange indicates the status of the termination resistor, green indicates bus activity, and blue indicates whether the called station is participating on the bus. This means that errors, such as bus breaks, missing or incorrectly connected termination resistors, and malfunctions or failures of bus stations, can be detected immediately. Profibus diagnostic connectors are available with approved screw technology and also with EasyConnect technology, with or without a programming connector. EasyConnect technology offers quick connection, eliminating the need for wire stripping.
