Anybus-CC is a family of plug-in, interchangeable communication modules that support various fieldbuses and industrial Ethernet technologies. All modules are packaged in a secure, compact flash card-sized enclosure. The core of each module is the HMS NP30 microprocessor.
The software and hardware of the Anybus-CC module for CompoNetTM works in the same way as all other Anybus-CC modules; therefore, the new module is fully interchangeable with all other active Anybus-CC modules.
CompoNet provides users with a bit-level network for controlling small, high-speed machines, and CIP™ network services for connecting the plant and the enterprise.
