The USB-C is a universal reversible connector for use with all devices, offering multiple functions in a single cable; connectivity for data at speeds of up to 10Gbps, and transfers power for charging and transmits audio/video up to 4K with Ultra High Definition.
Small enough for mobile devices yet durable enough for PCs or home/office equipment, USB-C allows users to connect all their devices using a single cable. Simple adapters enable connection to existing standards, such as USB Type-A (as offered on USB 2.0/3.0 host computers), Micro USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, or MFi connectors (designed for iPhone/iPod/iPad).
The new RS brand range not only includes cables and adapters, but also PCB-mountable connectors that allow engineers to take advantage of USB-C in new projects.
