In addition to the new connectors, Farnell stocks many other Würth components, including circuit protection and common-mode filters, to support the integration of USB SuperSpeed connectors into printed circuit boards.
“Würth’s USB SuperSpeed connectors respond to market demand for higher speeds and bandwidth, driven by the increasing prevalence of faster computing hardware in customer applications,” said Richard Curtin, Head of Semiconductors Passives and Optoelectronics (SEPO) Product & Supplier Management at Farnell Europe. “We are pleased to be able to offer these exciting products exclusively to our customers, along with a full range of additional devices to support the implementation of USB 3.0 in new designs.”
