Capable of transmitting 10/100/1000 Mb, these multiport magnetic connectors are compliant with the IEEE 802.3 standard. Thanks to their industry-standard footprint, they are a perfect replacement and offer switch manufacturers a reliable alternative for the industry. The gigabit magnetic elements inside the modules are compatible with various physical layers (PHYs) of the gigabit Ethernet transceiver. The magnetic connectors feature two single or bi-color LEDs per port, meeting a variety of customer LED configuration needs. Extended temperature range options are also available for the connectors.
PoE is a technology that defines the transmission of data and power to networked devices over a standard Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for additional power supplies. PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) offers switch manufacturers the opportunity to increase output power to 30 W per port. The PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) standard specification is backward compatible; therefore, legacy PoE (IEEE 802.3af) devices are also supported.
