The female contact expands, embracing the male contact during insertion. The Hyperboloid Contact System completely surrounds the male contact, ensuring more contact points. The low insertion force facilitates high-density connections.
While normal contacts are rated for 500 cycles, the Hyperboloid contact is rated for 100,000 cycles.
Thanks to this design, a higher current intensity is obtained.
With reduced mass and inertia of the wires, high flexibility and continuity are achieved. Results have been obtained in tests up to 300 g's, without signal loss. • The result is good electrical conductivity, independent of the direction and intensity of external forces.
