Actassi S-One connectors, designed as a single piece without any additional components, are more compact and easier to handle. The connector is supplied open and ready to be connected. In the shielded version, it features dual grounding: one via an automatic 360° cable and the other through a simple clip-on mechanism for the grounding wire. The cable is inserted into the U-shaped central input of the device. The clamp is then closed to automatically secure the cable. To complete the installation, the connector is closed without the need for tools. The click confirms a firm and reliable connection.
This connector features a U-shaped cable entry with a smart clamp. Despite its compact size, the connector offers ample internal space for working. Another new feature is the IDC protection; it's impossible to damage fingers or the cable because the IDC is concealed. The insulating plastic cover prevents short circuits between the conductors and the metal housing. The Actassi S-One cable organizers are color-coded for easier and safer function identification. Shielded and unshielded connectors are designated using the same system: dark blue for Category 6A, light blue for Category 6, and green for Category 5e.
