pins-connection-wFor the development of its range of power strips, ERNI has taken into account modern assembly technologies. In addition to push-fit strips, straight and angled versions are available for wave soldering and reflow soldering. The solderless push-fit technique is particularly recommended for printed circuit boards with components mounted on both sides.
ERNI's 2.54 mm pitch strips are single- and double-row plastic strips with square pins (0.64 mm x 0.64 mm). The catalog includes double-row strips in solder/THR versions with up to 50 pins (1x50) or push-fit/SMT versions with up to 36 pins (1x36). Double-row strips are available in solder/THR versions with up to 100 pins (2x50) or push-fit versions with up to 72 pins (2x36). These terminal blocks allow for board spacing between 2.5 mm and 31.4 mm.
ERNI offers DIN and LPV compatible terminal blocks in various standard lengths. Any number of pin connectors can be configured together in a single row. The insulation structure has split points to achieve the desired pin count. ERNI offers two different materials for these terminal blocks: black PA 46 GF for high-temperature soldering processes such as SMT or THR, and PBT GF for wave soldering and push-fit applications.
