Furthermore, the company is previewing its plans for the rollout of Wi-Fi 8, the next generation of wireless connectivity.

The FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro wireless repeater redefines mesh network performance by simultaneously utilizing four frequency bands (6 GHz, two 5 GHz bands, and 2.4 GHz), achieving a combined transfer rate of up to 18 Gbps. Equipped with 10 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps LAN ports, this device ensures a latency-free connection even in homes and offices with a high density of devices. Setup is virtually instantaneous using the WPS standard, and thanks to the FRITZ!App WLAN, users can identify the optimal placement to maximize coverage in every corner of their home or office.

Meanwhile, the FRITZ!WLAN Stick 6700 is the ideal solution for upgrading desktop or laptop computers to tri-band Wi-Fi 7 without changing internal hardware, offering speeds of up to 2.8 Gbps. This is a compact, plug-and-play USB wireless adapter with easy WPS setup. It allows any user to upgrade their wireless network to enjoy maximum internet speed and optimal stability in seconds, regardless of their router.

Looking to the future, FRITZ! unveiled its plans at MWC 2026 for adopting the Wi-Fi 8 standard, the next generation of wireless connectivity that promises improved stability at the edge of coverage and reduced energy consumption. Through Distributed Resource Unit (DRU) technology, the new protocol will enable a more robust signal and greater efficiency, especially for IoT devices and video conferencing. The company is already preparing a major update to FRITZ!OS to integrate this new standard.

At MWC26, FRITZ! also emphasized its commitment to sustainability and digital sovereignty. By developing both hardware and software in its Berlin laboratories, FRITZ! guarantees operators and end users a secure and private network, free from external technological dependencies. This commitment to European production not only ensures compliance with the strictest security regulations but also offers products with a long lifecycle and free updates, while simultaneously reducing environmental impact.

"With the FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro and the FRITZ!WLAN Stick 6700, ideal for upgrading any equipment, we are providing users with the tools to enjoy maximum wireless speed in their homes and offices. At the same time, we are paving the way for the arrival of Wi-Fi 8 to lead the next wireless generation with products designed and manufactured in Europe," says Ralf Muntean, Country Manager of FRITZ! for Spain and Portugal.
