The Cat. 6A EL module consists of just two pieces. It can be wired and assembled without special tools. It is available in shielded (STP) and unshielded (UTP) versions, made from a plastic material specifically designed to suppress alien crosstalk. It features an integrated cable retainer for strain relief. The shielded (STP) version provides 360° shield termination, as it completely wraps around the cable's shield.

The Cat. 6A EL module is a standardized component. It supports installation cables with both rigid and stranded conductors of all common diameters according to the 568A or 568B system. It is compatible with R&M cabling and security systems and with connectors from other manufacturers. The Cat. 6A EL can be used in R&Mfreenet system outlets and patch panels, or in outlet combinations from other manufacturers with the help of special adapters.
