The connectors have been specifically developed for very low insertion force, enabling fast and robust termination without special tools.
Thanks to their compact size, the new Snap-In products fit easily into standard sockets and high-density patch panels, such as the 48-port Brand-Rex 1U. This makes them ideal for data centers and office environments with limited space.
These connectors, whose performance has been verified by an independent body, feature a spring-loaded, 360° sliding shield that provides guidance, eliminating potential interference with the foil and locking mechanism while ensuring good contact with the shield.
The new products also feature integrated rear cable management, a universal locking block that retains all shielded cables (including twisted pair), and a quick-release function to suit the needs of each project.
The 10GPlus connectors, which are compliant with the RoHS directive, operate in the temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and have passed stress tests of up to 2500 insertion cycles with a standard socket.
