The screwless, horizontally locking frame halves, made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide PA 6.6, feature dovetail profiles, eliminating the need for screws; they simply snap into place. An integrated, captive double TPE gasket ensures a perfect seal according to IP66 protection rating. The black cable entry accommodates standard cutouts for heavy-duty 4, 10, 16, and 24-pin connectors. Additionally, the 8/16 frame has a fixed partition and can be equipped with two 4-piece inserts.
The KDSI-SR-G is suitable for cables of all connector sizes and allows for maximum flexibility in assembly order. The frame can be screwed directly to the enclosure or partially or fully mounted externally for later installation. Customers can select the frames and mounting methods best suited to their specific application. The system offers maximum flexibility with optimized storage thanks to the proven KDS modular system for accessories such as inserts and sealing elements. KDSI-SR-G will be commercially available in the first quarter of 2025.
