The Brocade 8470 embedded switch and Brocade 1007 CNA for IBM BladeCenter expand the range of integrated switches and adapters for Data Center Bridging (DCB), Fibre Channel, and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocols used in IBM BladeCenter environments. The Brocade 8470 embedded switch is the only integrated converged switch on the market that includes both DCB and Fibre Channel ports, providing IBM BladeCenter customers with multi-protocol support that consolidates their IP I/O and Fibre Channel needs onto a single switch.
