GEP-2450-v1 FwLevelOne's new offering can be managed directly from a web browser, allowing network administrators to monitor, configure, and control the activity of each switch port. Furthermore, this solution enables the implementation of Quality of Service (QoS), Port Mirroring, VLANs, LACP, a wireless security protocol for transmission and multicasting, and SNMP v2c.
Thanks to IEEE 802.3az support, the device features energy-saving capabilities that reduce power consumption and automatically detect machine status and cable length to provide different power levels based on infrastructure needs. It also supports IEEE 802.1x access control to ensure the highest levels of network security and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN for network segmentation, resulting in significant performance improvements.
The LevelOne switch also offers port aggregation groups of up to eight ports per group and 12 IP multicast filtering via IGMP V1/V2 inspection, as well as the definition of four QoS priority queues. The GEP-2450 also ensures a reduced carbon footprint through energy-efficient technology.
The new switch comes with a power cord, a 19” rackmount kit, rubber feet for added stability, a quick installation guide, and a resource CD containing the user manual.
