These switches comply with the EN50155 standard. Key features of TE's new switches, such as redundant input power and an optional bypass, ensure network reliability even under the harshest conditions. In the event of a power outage, the switch will automatically transfer data to the next node in the network, guaranteeing uninterrupted operation and enhanced security.

Furthermore, with multiple input voltage options and PoE (Power over Ethernet) capabilities, which allow both data and power to be transmitted over the same Ethernet twisted pair, the new plug-and-play switches ensure easy network setup. Eliminating separate power cables saves costs in terms of both components and network device installation.

Depending on the model, the number of ports varies between 5 and 8, and all support M12 connectivity. They support data speeds of up to 1 Gb/s, making them ready for future network expansions in the short and medium term. These switches comply with EN50155, the international standard for electronic equipment used in railway rolling stock.
