The new units are robust and designed for a wide range of industrial, non-climate-controlled, or outdoor applications with broad operating temperature ranges. Depending on the model selected, the switches, whether IEEE 802.3af or higher-power IEEE 802.3at, are suitable for most PTZ cameras. Some models even have PoE++ ports.

These new switches are optimized for high-resolution 4K video by managing jumbo packets under high traffic. In "CCTV mode," these switches can provide PoE up to 250 meters.

The available switches include fixed RJ45 ports, SFP ports, and combo ports (10/100 and Gigabit) that support MDI/MDIX for automatic configuration. For enhanced system reliability and simplified maintenance, the switches feature redundant power inputs, power failure alarm outputs, and a ring topology. The equipment operates in temperatures ranging from -40 to 75°C without requiring fans or climate-controlled environments.
