inlet cableThis simplex or duplex fiber optic cable is ideal for indoor use in network installations and Fiber to the Home applications. It can also be used for making patch cords and patch cables, and for direct connection to FTTx terminal equipment.

Each CAS/S1 cable consists of one or two tightly wound G.657A type optical fibers, aramid yarns as tensile elements, and an ivory-colored, halogen-free, low smoke emission, flame-retardant LSZH outer jacket.

This drop cable range offers numerous options to suit the requirements of a wide range of applications, including color-coded fiber, jacket color, and "Reel in a Box" packaging.
This all-dielectric model is also characterized by its reduced diameter, weight of 7 or 14 kg/km, tensile strength up to 350 N, crush resistance up to 700 N/100 mm, and a temperature range of -10 to +70 °C.
The CAS/S1 has successfully passed the mechanical and thermal tests of EN187000 and IEC60794-1-2, and complies with UNE-EN 50265 (IEC 60332-1), UNE-EN 50267 (IEC 60754-1/2), and UNE-EN 61034 (IEC 61034-1/2).
