Each cable consists of a central element, a tight optical fiber (0.9 mm), an aramid sub-cable, the corresponding conductors (20AWG and 24 AWG), paper/polyester tape, tinned copper armor (coverage >70 percent) and a black outer sheath (LSZH in indoor models and PVC-FLX in outdoor variants).
Options include G.657.A2 optical fiber and an outer sheath PUR/LSZH (indoor type) or PUR/PVC-FLX (outdoor type).
On the other hand, these hybrid cables are distinguished by their extremely robust design and high tensile and fire resistance (as they do not propagate flame or fire). The outdoor versions are also characterized by their flexibility and torsional strength, halogen-free construction, and low smoke emission.
Furthermore, the COFITEL Group holds the certificate as an authorized assembler of LEMO's 3K.93C series SMPTE connectors and therefore meets the needs of virtually any application with next-generation digital HDTV cameras.
