CPEX protective cassette for 3 to 4 mm diameter cable splices outdoors
The COFITEL Group presents the new CPEX cassette, a model that offers external protection to individual fiber optic cable splices (using a simple adapter).
Suitable for any type of fiber optic cable with a diameter of 3 to 4 mm, this protective cassette provides a compact (160 x 48 x 16 mm) and easy-to-install solution without the need for any tools by the operator.
By using this type of accessory, the optical transmission properties of the optical fibers are kept intact without signal loss, and the protection of the splices made is increased.
The CPEX, which is made of flame-retardant plastic, has an atmospheric pressure range of 70 to 106 Kpa and operates in the temperature range between -25 and +65 °C.
In addition, it has protection against moisture and dust and is light in color for quick identification and so as not to be aesthetically bothersome in the installation environment.
