The QWKconnect MDU uses Emtelle FibreFlow's QWKlink Fiber, but comes pre-installed in an LFH microduct. It also has the added advantage of pre-installed fiber optic connectors at both ends, eliminating the need for fiber splicing or blowing for FTTx applications. The 1.1 mm diameter QWKconnect MDU fibers reduce installation cost and complexity and are plug-and-play.
 
The QWKconnect MDU can be installed from the basement, run up the elevator, and connected to a simple termination box inside the building or home. The product also provides a dedicated, future-proof microduct route to each home to allow for future fiber upgrades.
