It also includes an illuminated keypad for selecting up to 120 splicing modes and 33 heating modes.
The View 1 performs fusion in 7 seconds (quick mode) or 9 seconds (SM mode) with a warm-up time of 13 seconds, offering faster and more accurate operation than more expensive models.
The new fusion splicer also features a removable heating oven for SOC, long-lasting and easily replaceable 3,500 arc electrodes, a ceramic clamp, a universal cable holder, a 3,800 mAh battery (capable of 140 splices), a Micro HDMI terminal, storage capacity for up to two thousand results, and a three-year warranty.
This compact design, measuring 137 x 132 x 126 mm and weighing 1.70 kilograms (with battery), can work with a large number of single-mode (ITU-T G.652/657), multi-mode (G.651), DS (G.653) and NZDS (G.655) cables and fibers with a return loss below 60 dB.
The View 1 is supplied in a carrying case with straps, a high-precision V7 blade, an E-50 electrode, a cooling plate, a battery pack, an AC adapter, a power cable, a Micro HDMI to USB cable, and a user manual CD.
This fusion splicer is the most compact model in INNO's View family, which also includes the View 3, View 5, and View 7 units with a 5" touchscreen. This allows Grupo COFITEL to offer the most suitable model for different fiber optic deployment projects.
