Compared to its predecessor, the 22S, the 41S has been updated and offers installers the convenience of a 5" color touchscreen, improved V-slot lighting, and the advantage of easy splice protector positioning.

When the 41S detects a high cleavage angle or a defective fiber end shape, it sends a blade repositioning command to the cleaver. The CT50 blade then automatically rotates to the next position, restoring optimal cleaving performance.
 
Utilizing the low radio power of Bluetooth technology, nearby equipment will not be interfered with. Operators can benefit from "always-on" functionality due to Bluetooth's low power consumption, meaning batteries can last for several months.
 
In addition to cleaver performance, the smart fusion splicer can also wirelessly monitor battery usage and CT50 blade power. The 41S comes standard with a touchscreen menu but also retains the traditional, user-friendly hard-button navigation system. The fusion splicer retains all the signature features of Fujikura's current flagship high-performance fusion splicer range, including fast splicing and warm-up times, fully rugged features, and user-customizable settings.
