The overall process time has been improved compared to its predecessor, the 70S+. Thanks to new automated features, the 90S fusion splicer is faster, allowing for reduced installation times. With this equipment, the operator can perform the entire fusion process simply by moving the fiber, without needing to touch the 90S.
The new fiber retainers improve this process. Once the fusion is complete, the fiber retainers automatically open, leaving the fiber lightly held by the user. This improvement in speed and accuracy in the 90S has been achieved using true core alignment technology combined with advanced image processing to ensure the most precise splicing.
The 90S is based on Fujikura's Intelligent Blade Management (ABM) technology, which allows two CT50 cutters to be connected simultaneously wirelessly, enabling blade rotation when the blade is worn.
The 90S indicates the remaining blade life and also informs the user when blade lifting is required.
A redesigned carrying case and multi-function work tray are integral parts of the 90S package. The work tray can be split in two to adapt to your workspace.
All these new features, combined with a longer battery life and a touchscreen, make the 90S the fastest and most accurate fusion splicer on the market.
