Thanks to EXFO's reference cable method for automated bidirectional testing and its high-precision optics, the MAX-945 can test short links, such as fiber drops in FTTH networks, with extreme accuracy and very low losses. It also features integrated professional PDF reports and a 200 km single-mode distance range. The MAX-945 OLTS also performs onboard diagnostics to deliver real-time information about cable health and pass/fail testing based on predefined or customized criteria throughout the referencing and testing processes.
With a tablet-inspired design featuring a 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen and an intuitive Windows-like interface, the MAX-945 offers integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and is compatible with cloud-based test asset management, EXFO Connect. Furthermore, its onboard reporting capabilities allow technicians to document their work live without requiring post-processing in the office. This means technicians can close jobs, get paid, and move on to the next one faster. With 12 hours of battery life and internal memory capacity for 150,000 test results, the MAX-945 also ensures a full day's work in the field.
The MAX-945 follows and implements industry best practices: both the main and remote units have full feature sets and are compatible with the FIP-400B series of automated inspection probes for quickly inspecting connector end faces at both ends.
