The MPOLx models offer a power meter and light source with basic testing functions for checking and certifying network links with native MPO connectivity, while also helping technicians perform their work quickly and accurately. For example, test results for all twelve fibers appear on the screen in just 6 seconds.
Professionals can perform inspections of MPO terminations at both ends, as well as a wide range of other operations: measuring length and optical loss at various wavelengths, verifying polarity, and conducting automated pass/fail analyses for trunk cables and connector boards. They can also generate certification reports.
As with all VIAVI fiber certification solutions, identical remote and local units are provided to ensure maximum control and visibility when performing tests with both the power meter and the light source.
All devices include a 3.5-inch color touchscreen and integrated inspection functions for bulkhead and trunk connectors. Furthermore, they can be integrated with FiberChekPRO.
