The ACCESS Master MT9085 series features an 8-inch touchscreen, rotary dial, and physical keys that enhance OTDR waveform analysis, helping to reduce field work time.
Field technicians can use the tool as a schematic map to visualize fiber elements such as splices, connectors, and splitters. By eliminating complex operations like reading and analyzing optical waveforms, Fiber Visualizer allows technicians of any experience level to perform fiber measurements and pass/fail tests. Furthermore, automatic pass/fail evaluation based on preset threshold values reduces operator error.
In addition to offering all the functions of an OTDR, the ACCESS Master MT9085 series can perform optical power loss measurements and long-distance fiber termination detection. This portable field tester utilizes a unique algorithm that detects fiber elements with high accuracy in complex passive optical networks (PONs), reducing field workload. It delivers high-speed, high-quality real-time waveforms, a dead zone of only ≤8 m, a high dynamic range of ≥46 dB, and waveform compatibility for both single-mode and multimode fiber.
A flexible platform allows for easy expansion of the ACCESS Master MT9085 series. A high-performance optical power meter, a visible light source, and the VIP (Video Inspection Probe) function for fiber optic termination inspection can be integrated into the platform to create a complete all-in-one toolkit for fiber installation and maintenance. The measurement results can be managed at the central office via WLAN and Bluetooth connections.
