The platform, which provides very high quality signal generation up to 64.2Gbps, consists of the Anritsu MP1800A signal quality analyzer (Bit Error Rate Tester, BERT) and three new pieces of equipment: the 64G multiplexer MP1861A, the 64G demultiplexer MP1862A and the PAM4 converter MZ1854A.
As a completely unique feature, this platform integrates the ability to add multiple jitter tests at any speed of the generated signal for simultaneous analysis of jitter tolerance and signal integrity. In this demonstration, the output signal is analyzed using LeCroy's 65GHz LabMaster oscilloscope.
The MP1800A 64.2Gbps signal quality analysis test platform will be showcased to visitors at Anritsu's booth 212 during the ECOC show.
A second demonstration of the 64.2Gbps MP1800A platform will also be on display at ECOC 2015. This second installation leverages the MP1800A's excellent visual quality, extremely low intrinsic jitter, and fast transition times, making it suitable for data rates of 100Mbps and 64.2Gbps.
