Users of these new kits will benefit from the FindFiber™ capability, included for the first time in a solution of this type. By connecting FindFiber Remote ID resources to the ports of a remote patch panel, a single technician can identify the physical location of the live cabling to ensure correct polarity and placement of each fiber drop in a central panel. This time-saving feature allows a technician to perform a double-ended check—a task that previously required multiple professionals and a talk set at each link termination.
In addition to the reduced dual-wavelength check time, the new SimpliFiber Pro models offer a new CheckActive™ capability to verify if a fiber is live. The kit's optical power meter beeps and displays an icon if it detects a live fiber. This process is significantly faster than connecting a port and performing a full power measurement.

The SimpliFiber Pro optical power meter offers a Min/Max function that automates the tracking of intermittent power fluctuations. This capability saves time and frustration compared to trial-and-error methods.
The SimpliFiber Pro range, which replaces the successful SimpliFiber product line, comprises four fiber platforms: the power meter, the multimode source, the single-mode source, and the FindFiber Remote ID resources. Each platform is available separately or in a kit configuration that includes passive optical or active video inspection microscopes, a visual fault locator (VFL), and fiber optic cleaning supplies in a convenient carrying case.
