The main features of the Mini-OTDR AXS-130 include:
Integrated essential test elements: Equipped with a visual fault locator (VFL), an in-line light source, and a power tester, all accessible through the same OTDR port.
Patented interchangeable connectors.
Optimized Display: A consolidated view on a single screen presents key results, test parameters, OTDR traces, and linear event views, improving user experience and efficiency.
View key results, test parameters, the OTDR trace, the linear event view, and the OLM, all summarized on a single screen. Optimized GUI and touchscreen for horizontal or vertical viewing, zooming, and editing.
Cloud connectivity: Seamless integration with EXFO Exchange enables automated test result management, enhanced collaboration, and comprehensive reporting, ensuring compliance and providing valuable insights. Connect to your phone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi for faster .SOR file transfers and software updates.
The AXS-130 is designed for a wide range of applications, including FTTx/PON testing through splitters (up to 1×128), live fiber troubleshooting, access network (P2P) testing, metropolitan link (P2P) testing, and passive optical LAN (POL) deployments.
Optical Link Mapper (OLM)
Automatic multi-wavelength analysis with a consolidated, icon-based link view:
- Synchronized with events and displayed on the same screen below the OTDR trace for better explanation and understanding of events.
- Displays end-to-end link length, loss, and ORL based on pass/fail settings.
- Automatic parameter configuration and clear pass/fail results.
Fiber Tracing: Tone Detection.
The AXS can be used as a light source and emits a tone that can be detected by a fiber optic detector (LFD), a power meter, or another AXS unit to trace or identify a specific fiber. The AXS-130 can detect five different tones: CW, 270 Hz, 330 Hz, 1 kHz, and 2 kHz.
