The all-fiber optic system is based on erbium-doped fiber technology and a saturable absorption mirror (SAM) and is equipped with a fiber output interface with maintained forward polarization. With its compact size of only 202 mm x 122 mm x 69 mm, it is the most compact fiber-fs laser on the market that includes the necessary optics and control electronics in a single unit. The FemtoFErb is perfectly suited to fiber-based terahertz time-domain requirements and can completely replace bulky and expensive solid-state lasers.

The FemtoFErb is a plug-and-play system for OEM integrators. It provides an electrical interface for remote control and requires only a 12V power supply for all internal electronics. For standalone system users, an optional distribution box provides all the switches, power, and status lines to operate a FemtoFErb as a self-contained system, without an integration environment.
