Huawei today launched the Huawei AR3670, the industry's first converged agile ICT gateway. It is designed to help enterprises reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) of branch networks, achieve rapid service deployment, simplify network operations and maintenance (O&M), enhance capabilities to launch value-added services, and transform themselves to meet the challenges presented by new information and communications technology (ICT) services.

With the development of globalization and the emergence and prevalence of technologies such as cloud computing and big data, companies need to manage a growing number of branches around the world and transform themselves to meet evolving business needs. The traditional approach of adding hardware to existing systems for additional ICT capabilities can no longer satisfy the increasing service demands of branch offices. To address this challenge, Huawei has developed and launched the Huawei AR3670 Agile Gateway to help companies integrate ICT resources by adopting Intel's x86 architecture design projects and best-in-class virtualization technology. As one of the key products in Huawei's Agile Solution, the AR3670 Agile Gateway features the following technological innovations:

    --  In the industry, the AR3670 is the first product of its kind to use

        the leading virtualization technology to integrate the technology of

        information (IT) and technological resources (CT) of the

        Gateway communication. A single AR3670 device is

        equivalent to an ICT system, which substantially reduces the

        company device purchase requirements and O&M costs.

    --  It is the industry's first agile portal for implementing control

        unified O&M of IT and CT devices through architecture based

        in Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization

        (NFV). Applications can be deployed automatically and

        remotely and updated through a unified management platform

        to accelerate service launch and streamline network O&M in the

        branch offices.

    --  It is the industry's first open gateway to support the

        integration and compatibility across devices, networks and

        applications and can be quickly integrated with third-party systems

        to build a complete solution that creates added value for the
