Nokia has announced the signing of a multi-year cross-patent licensing agreement with vivo. Under the agreement, vivo will pay royalties to Nokia, along with recovery payments to cover the litigation period. The agreement resolves all outstanding patent litigation between the parties in all jurisdictions. The terms of the agreement remain confidential as agreed by the parties.

Vertiv has announced the expansion of its collaboration agreement with Telefónica to improve energy efficiency in key buildings across its backbone and edge networks. Under the agreement, Telefónica expects to save approximately 45 GWh per year over three years, equivalent to the energy consumption of around 13,000 homes. Vertiv will provide a turnkey solution to enable energy savings in various areas of Telefónica's core network sites in Spain.

Thorlabs is pleased to announce that it has signed a licensing and technology transfer agreement for the patented "dual comb" spectroscopy instruments based on QCL, developed by smart sensor solutions provider Sensirion at its subsidiary IRsweep. Dual comb spectroscopy is a rapidly growing field due to its ability to combine many of the strengths of conventional broadband spectroscopy and tunable laser spectroscopy into a single platform.

Ingram Micro has signed an agreement with j5Create to be the first to distribute the products of this American company, founded in 2010, in the European market. j5Create is a technology giant, with 30 product categories and more than 250 references of devices and peripherals compatible with Apple, Microsoft, and Google, among others. Vertiv announced today that subsidiaries of the company have reached a definitive agreement to acquire all shares of CoolTera Ltd. Nokia and BT Group today announced an agreement to develop new 5G network monetization opportunities through Nokia's Network as Code platform with BT Group's developer portal and cloud-native network.

Sateliot and t42 have signed a collaboration agreement to promote the connected container. t42 will deploy thousands of 5G-IoT sensors in the containers of its more than 50 logistics and support partners across the over 50 countries where it operates. These sensors will connect to Sateliot's satellites, eliminating the problem of lack of coverage at sea. ZTE announces an agreement with internet and mobile operator Avanza Fibra for the deployment of fiber optic cable in areas of southwestern Spain. Specifically, the network will be expanded in municipalities in Almería, Murcia, Alicante, Valencia, and Albacete, and new networks will be opened in Cuenca and Granada.

Avanza Fibra will use the ZTE ZXA10 C600 OLT, also known by the commercial name TITAN, in its central offices. The OLT is the device that the operator installs on the exterior of buildings, either on facades or in junction boxes, and is responsible for sending the main signal to many customers in that area.

Mitel announced today that it has finalized its previously published plans to acquire Unify, the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) and Communication and Collaboration Services (CCS) businesses of the Atos group. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Sateliot and Comfone have reached an agreement that will allow more than 480 mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) worldwide to connect to Sateliot's 5G IoT-NB nanosatellite constellation via a standard roaming agreement, paving the way for the mass adoption of IoT anywhere on the planet. Under this agreement, IoT device users will be able to send and receive 5G data anywhere in the world, regardless of the SIM card they are using, directly from Sateliot's cell towers and non-terrestrial network (NTN).
